Job Summary

The C-Store Food Service Team Member is a key role within our operations team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service, welcoming customers to the store and assisting with questions and concerns.
  • Develop personal relationships with customers, addressing their needs and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Assist in maintaining and auditing food and non-food inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Prepare and merchandise ready-to-eat food and dispensed beverages, ensuring high-quality presentation and appealing displays.
  • Ensure all signage is accurately placed and up-to-date, promoting sales and driving customer engagement.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment used in food service, adhering to company safety standards and protocols.
  • Assist with payment processing, accurately ringing up sales and handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership and colleagues, maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Perform daily cleaning duties, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, providing excellent customer service and teamwork.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures, adhering to company guidelines and regulations.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, frequently bending, squatting, and standing.
Working Conditions

The C-Store Food Service Team Member will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, frequently exposed to cool and damp conditions, as well as extreme temperatures.
