Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at WellStar Health System, Inc. This is a dynamic opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced environment, providing safe and effective care to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in providing safe and age-appropriate care to patients by performing all exams provided by the department per department protocols.
- Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the utilization of equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment of diseases.
- Set up equipment to provide imaging services and position patients for procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality control measures to ensure high-quality images and patient safety.
- Graduate of an approved AMA Nuclear Medicine Program.
- ARRT Nuclear Technology or Certified Nuclear Med Tech certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) certification.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting caring for patients or 1 year NM experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
