We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of our fleet of vehicles and heavy equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and ensuring that all maintenance and repair work is completed in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of technicians to ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed to a high standard.
- Plan and schedule maintenance and repair work to minimize downtime and ensure that all equipment is available when needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance programs.
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Manage inventory and supplies to ensure that all necessary materials are available when needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance and repair work is aligned with business objectives.
- 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
- 1 year of experience in a supervisory role with knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of engine, brake, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
