Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on various topics, including patient safety, infection control, and emergency procedures.
- Leadership and Supervision: Assist in the supervision of other staff members, students, and volunteers, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Professional Development: Maintain professional standards of conduct and ethics, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
- Education: Current California RN License, required.
- Experience: Six (6) months of Emergency experience as a Registered Nurse, required. May consider two (2) years of experience in an acute care hospital in lieu of emergency experience.
- Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NVCI, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications, required.
