Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager will play a key role in ensuring the success of our restaurant team, store, and company through excellent leadership, guest service, and execution of proper procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in leading the team to achieve sales goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Comply with all company policies and government regulations, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Manage employee schedules, maintain profitability goals, and analyze profit & loss (P&L) statements to make informed business decisions.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure all team members are knowledgeable about our menu, operations, and customer service standards.
  • Monitor and maintain store appearance, including cleaning bathrooms, floors, tables, countertops, and other areas as assigned.
  • Operate the register in a competent fashion, following Penn Station East Coast Subs' Operations Manual and NV Ventures, LLC policies at all times.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory/management role (3+ years preferred).
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a restaurant environment (3+ years preferred).
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in developing teams and leading by example.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
