We are seeking a highly skilled Research Physicist to join our team at the Laboratory for Physical Sciences (LPS). As a Research Physicist, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects, collaborating with leading companies, universities, and national laboratories to advance core capabilities and develop revolutionary ideas.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting research in quantum physics and developing new technologies
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and develop large-scale high-performance computing systems
  • Developing and implementing new research methods and techniques
  • Presenting research findings to internal and external stakeholders
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest research in the field and attending conferences and workshops

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physics, mathematics, and engineering, with a focus on quantum physics and computing. You will be a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary range of $102,477 - $191,900, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation assistance, flexible work schedules, and opportunities for professional development.
