Soliant Health is currently seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to cover a maternity leave position in a school district near Los Angeles, CA. This position involves providing services to students in 5th to 12th grade across two locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in grades 5-12
- Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders
- Create and execute personalized education plans (IEPs) based on student requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to aid student progress
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student advancements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting
- Consult with colleagues, students, and parents to enhance student success
- Travel between two assigned school locations to provide services
- Must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold a valid California license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience in an educational setting is desirable
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively engage with a diverse student population
