Overview

Responsibilities

As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, treating, and implementing treatment plans for patients with disorders of speech, language, cognition, swallowing, and other services prescribed by a physician. You will also assist in developing and implementing new and ongoing programs to enhance the department.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in speech therapy from an accredited college or university
  • At least one year of experience in a hospital setting
  • Licensure by the State in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current BLS for healthcare provider's certification
