Urologist Position

The Lebanon VA Medical Center is seeking a skilled Urologist to join their team. As a Urologist, you will conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with urological symptoms and conditions. You will utilize diagnostic tools and imaging to diagnose urological disorders and develop and implement treatment plans for patients with urological conditions, including medical management and surgical interventions.

The ideal candidate will have a Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, be board certified through the American Board of Urology, and have robotics training. They must also have a full, current, and unrestricted license in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia. Additionally, they must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency.

The Urologist will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including oncologists, radiologists, and nephrologists, to optimize patient care. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) of patient care and preparing and submitting reports and documentation as required.

The Lebanon VA Medical Center is located in Pennsylvania Dutch country and is one of 9 medical centers in the region. The main campus is located in South Lebanon Township, 3 miles outside of Lebanon and approximately 30 miles east of Harrisburg, the state capital, and 30 minutes from the city of Hershey, Reading, Lancaster, and York.

Six community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs) are located in Camp Hill, York, Reading, Lancaster, Pottsville, and Frackville, PA, of which this position calls for visitation of all CBOC locations. Care is available to over 174,000 Veterans from the nine growing counties in South Central Pennsylvania.
