Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Tabitha. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their well-being and happiness.
Responsibilities- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation, and continence.
- Support Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
- Follow department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
- Prioritize assignments and make adjustments throughout the shift to meet frequently changing Senior/client/caregiver/TEAMember/manager needs.
- Perform work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Tabitha.
- Provide and document basic therapeutic care not requiring nursing judgment, such as obtaining heights, weights, and measuring vital signs.
- Prepare breakfast, snacks, and other foods requested by/for Senior/client.
- Process Senior/client laundry.
- Evaluate emergency situations and perform CPR when necessary, based on training.
- CNA certification in good standing as demonstrated by inclusion on the Nebraska State Registry.
- At least 6 months of experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds and pass a physical exam.
