Outpatient Rehabilitation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Outpatient Rehab Manager to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing management oversight for assigned therapy locations and performing as an integral member of the rehab leadership team.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in strategic planning activities for the product line and areas of responsibility.
- Assist in managing costs on a daily basis, including flexing of staff to meet referral demand.
- Coordinate in-services/training for staff to meet staff development needs.
- Coordinate and conduct annual performance appraisals of staff based on direct observation and feedback of clinical staff and others as appropriate.
- Lead departmental and team planning activities by advising areas of staffing, operational performance, quality and safety, and technology, etc.
- Participate in the departmental Quality Management Program, including QA, QI and Program Evaluation.
- Maintain daily awareness and responsibility for safety and infection control.
- Maintain high level of customer satisfaction in areas of responsibility.
- Assist in recruitment of staff in areas of responsibility; coordinate orientation of new staff.
- Serve as a Liaison with physicians, other hospital departments, third party payors, and community agencies.
- Collaborate with department leaders throughout Memorial to ensure smooth coordination of all therapy services required to meet patient needs.
- Provide daily management of operations (Personnel, Procedural, etc.) in areas of responsibility.
- Masters degree or higher in relevant academic discipline required.
- Illinois licensed/licensure eligible Psychologist, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Pathologist required.
- Minimum of five years clinical experience in broad-based rehabilitation setting preferred, with clinical leadership experience required.
