Position Title: MIG Welder/Fabricator

Essential Responsibilities:

  • MIG Welding: Utilize MIG welding apparatus to join various metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
  • Metal Fabrication: Shape, cut, and assemble metal parts using equipment such as saws, grinders, and bending machines.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and execute technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to fabricate components accurately.
  • Component Assembly: Assemble structural frameworks, beams, and other metal parts according to detailed specifications.
  • Fixture Setup: Prepare and operate welding jigs and fixtures to secure components during the welding process.
  • Quality Inspection: Examine finished welds and fabrications to ensure compliance with quality standards, including dimensional precision and weld integrity.
  • Testing Procedures: Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) as necessary, utilizing tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of welding experience
  • Experience in a welding shop environment
  • Fabrication skills
  • Valid Driver's License

Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent

Compensation: $20-$24 per hour based on experience

Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 5 AM to 3:30 PM
