We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining technical skills needed to perform radiography procedures and evaluating radiographs for technical quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain technical skills needed to perform radiography procedures
- Evaluate radiographs for technical quality
- Conduct examinations in accordance with prescribed protocols established by staff radiologists
- Document procedures and stat reads according to departmental policies
- Assist radiologists during procedures and help put patients at ease
- Shut down radiologic equipment and reboot computers as needed
- High School Graduate (or GED) Required
- Graduate from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program
- Certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services MRT program
