Essential Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience as a staff member within Alexandria City Public Schools
  • Strong understanding and expertise in basketball
  • Prior coaching experience in basketball is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach athletes the fundamentals of basketball and physical conditioning
  • Implement safety protocols and ensure timely reporting of any injuries
  • Keep detailed records of athlete performance
  • Adhere to program guidelines and regulations
  • Engage with parents and guardians to promote the athletic program

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Completion of Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
  • Negative Tuberculosis Skin Test
