Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Eddy Heritage House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Troy, NY. This is a part-time position working every Saturday and Sunday from 7AM-7PM, with full-time benefits for just 24 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities
  • Administer nursing care to residents under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse, assisting with treatments and procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with the RN to collect data about residents, determine priorities in resident care, and contribute to the plan of care through effective communication with the healthcare team.
  • Comply with established nursing policies, procedures, and standards to provide safe and quality care to residents.
Requirements
  • A current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of New York.
  • 1 year or more of experience as a LPN, with a willingness to help train the right candidate to further their skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced work environment and engage within a team setting.
  • Possession of a passion to learn, grow, and develop in the nursing field.
Benefits and Compensation

Our competitive salary for this position is $23.40 - $33.25 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. As an exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), you will receive full-time benefits while working just 24 hours of time per week.
