About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled Contract Case Management Specialist to join our team. In this position, you'll be responsible for providing medical administration support by obtaining referrals or prior authorizations for patients to see specialty providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process authorization and referral requests efficiently
- Coordinate with health plans and contracted providers to ensure seamless communication
- Support Case Management staff in their daily operations
- Serve as a resource for providers regarding the authorization process
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Data Entry Experience
- Knowledge of payers/Medical Terminology
- Authorization/Case Management experience (preferred)
- EPIC experience (highly preferred)
- Ability to type 55 WPM or more
