Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Specialist to join our team at Queen's Health Systems Inc. as a key member of our cardiovascular physician group. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and expanding our electrophysiology program, providing clinical expertise in contemporary EP procedures, and engaging in educational and research activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement electrophysiology program strategies to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Provide clinical expertise in device implantation and management, as well as ablation techniques for atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia
  • Engage in educational activities, including mentoring of cardiovascular fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students
  • Participate in research activities to advance the field of electrophysiology
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine or equivalent
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Board certification in Cardiovascular Disease or equivalent
  • Fellowship training in Adult Cardiovascular Diseases
  • Experience in electrophysiology program development and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
