Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Assistant Teacher to join our team at Maplebrook. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. You will work closely with our experienced teachers to implement our research-backed curriculum and provide exceptional care and education to our students.

Responsibilities
  • Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child
  • Create a safe and engaging learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Partner with parents to provide regular updates and communicate effectively about their child's progress
  • Support the lead teacher in planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Assist with daily routines, including mealtime, rest time, and outdoor play
Qualifications
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
