View Platform Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled View Platform Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new solutions and algorithms to increase performance throughout the entire application stack. They will also provide work direction to the software engineering team and collaborate with cross-discipline teams to solve problems of a top 5 e-commerce website.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new solutions and algorithms to increase performance throughout the entire application stack

  • Develop software using current and leading-edge programming languages and technologies

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with Java/Spring/Maven/Gradle
  • 2+ years of experience with full stack development, should have experience working on both Frontend and Backend side of application development. Backend end experience using JavaScript, typescript and node is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience writing software applications for large-scale, distributed web or service-oriented environments
  • 1+ years of experience in NodeJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in messaging systems like RabbitMQ preferred
  • Experience with off-heap caching solutions, such as Memcached, Redis
  • Experience with container platforms, such as Docker
  • Experience leading technical teams
  • Experience with at least one CDN
  • Experience with JSON Graph (GraphQL, Falcor, etc)
