About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care in critical emergency situations, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs, prioritizing care based on acuity level and available resources.
  • Assist physicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures, administering prescribed medications, changing dressings, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition, utilizing a computerized documentation system.
  • Provide age and culturally appropriate care, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Current Florida RN licensure or recognized compact licensure.
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA).
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department or similar setting.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including effective listening and communication.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
