Nurse RN Full Time Position

Gaudenzia is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full Time Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients.
Responsibilities- Perform initial nursing assessments for clients within 24 hours of admission, ensuring compliance with established program policies and state regulations.
- Arrange appointments with healthcare providers to secure physical examinations, health screenings, and necessary tests.
- Administer medications and supervise self-administered medications, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of medical supplies and inventory, ensuring compliance with governing regulations and agency policies.
- Counsel clients on nutrition, healthcare, self-care, and symptom management.
- Ensure clients have appropriate medical coverage for safety, adequate care, and provider compliance.
- Implement health seminars on topics such as HIV/AIDS, nutrition, medication education, and infectious diseases.
- Participate in treatment and multidisciplinary team meetings as directed.
- Implement and ensure adherence to infection control policies and practices.
- Provide education to clients on health, nutrition, safety, and medication compliance.
- Maintain RN licensure with good standing.
This position requires working weekends at least once a month, including one off-shift per week, to ensure program coverage. May be required to work shifts outside of assigned shifts during critical staffing shortages.

QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited school of practical nursing, a valid RN license in good standing, and current CPR certification. Behavioral health experience is a plus. New graduates and newly licensed LPNs and RNs are encouraged to apply, as direct job experience is not a requirement for this position.
