About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Equipment Specialist to join our team at Precise Systems (MD). As an integral part of our Industrial Controls department, you will be responsible for repairing and calibrating industrial-grade equipment, including PCBs, timers, counters, PLCs, drives, monitors, and temperature & process controls.

In this role, you will utilize industry-standard troubleshooting, repair, and soldering skills to diagnose and fix complex issues. Your attention to detail and strong technical knowledge will enable you to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bench-level electronic and electro-mechanical repair tasks using industry-standard methods and techniques.
  • Documentation of actions taken on each item, ensuring accurate tracking and communication of completions, obstacles, and concerns.
  • Verifying part numbers on all units processed, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Inspection, cleaning, and testing of all units to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Isolating unit failures and performing repairs as needed.
  • Proper use of shop assets and test fixtures, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Power and diagnostic testing of all units to ensure proper functionality.
  • Programming and support for quality methods, processes, and procedures.
  • Supporting and improving the quality of the final product, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off.
