This role involves executing physician orders and implementing therapeutic nursing interventions while continuously evaluating patient responses to care and monitoring progress towards desired health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate care among various healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Assist patients and staff in recognizing issues and exploring alternative solutions and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Education: A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program and hold a valid nursing license in Alabama. BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire, along with ACLS certification.
Experience: Prior nursing experience in a critical care environment is essential, demonstrating effective supervisory and management capabilities.
Skills and Abilities: Exceptional communication skills are necessary, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting that demands frequent prioritization and adaptability.
