Komatsu is a leading provider of innovative solutions for the construction, mining, and industrial machinery markets. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics functions.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, verifying receipt using our SAP computer system and RF/HU portable scanning system.
- Pull, pack, and ship outgoing materials, including customer orders, service center orders, and transfers to other Komatsu locations.
- Deliver materials to customers' premises during normal working hours, assigned overtime, and on-call hours.
- Ship orders and transfers via UPS, Motor Freight, Air Freight, or common carrier as required.
- Weigh, palletize, band, pack, and complete bills of lading accurately.
- Maintain accurate files on shipping/receiving documents.
- Notify supervisor and inventory control of incorrect or damaged material or errors in counts.
- Maintain excellent customer-vendor relations during customer contacts.
- Follow all policies and procedures when using company vehicles and fork trucks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Observe all safety regulations and participate in monthly safety training.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a high school diploma and advanced training in computerized warehousing systems or equivalent experience, education, or training of 1 to 3 years.
