Job Summary:
A/Z Corporation is seeking an experienced Mechanical Working Lead to participate in the installation, maintenance, and inspection of HVAC, Utility, and Process piping and plumbing systems. This role involves leading a team of pipe fitters, plumbers, welders, and apprentices in executing mechanical work safely and with the objective of constructing a best-in-class product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and audit site safety and quality control programs
- Ensure all site safety work permits are acknowledged and adhered to
- Coordinate interface between project management and site operation participants
- Confirm design intent with architectural, engineering, and consultants
- Coordinate field trade activities in accordance with the project schedule
Requirements:
- 10 years of field experience in industrial construction
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in industrial construction
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and manage a team
