We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Thrift Store Associate to join our team at The Salvation Army USA Central Territory. As a Thrift Store Associate, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service, sorting and pricing donations, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Sort and price donations in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Operate a cash register, handling customer transactions and maintaining accurate records.
- Perform general cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
- Assist drivers with pickups and unloading of donations from trucks.
- Answer phones and respond to client/caller requests for information, routing calls to the appropriate person as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience and cash handling skills are a plus.
