Uniti Med is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in San Jose, California.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiation Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for administering radiation therapy to patients with cancer, ensuring accurate and safe treatment delivery.
Responsibilities:- Administer radiation therapy to patients with cancer, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic imaging.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patient response to treatment, adjusting plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Radiation Therapist in the state of California.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in radiation therapy, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods, with frequent bending and reaching.
