Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Repair Specialist to join our team at Music and Arts. This role involves repairing musical instruments in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring they are returned to their best playing condition.

About the Role

The Instrument Repair Specialist will be responsible for working on rental returned instruments, ensuring each instrument is repaired according to established quality guidelines, and maintaining accurate records for production reporting. Additionally, this role requires problem-solving skills, technical knowledge of various instruments, and the ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, with a strong understanding of brass, woodwind, percussion, and orchestral instruments.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English fluently.
  • Familiarity with standard repair shop tooling and equipment.
  • Skilled understanding of one or all brass, woodwind, percussion, and orchestral instruments, and the ability to repair them in a timely and efficient manner.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4 years of relevant work experience, with advanced understanding of one or all brass, woodwind, percussion, and orchestral instruments.
Work Environment

The Instrument Repair Specialist will work in a fast-paced repair shop environment, surrounded by a supportive team of professionals who share a passion for music and arts. The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented, able to produce quality repairs efficiently, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Compensation
