Job Overview

O'Donnell Metal Fabricators, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair faults in residential HVAC equipment, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance
  • Represent the company to customers, providing exceptional service and support
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and customer interactions

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in HVAC technology or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in residential HVAC service and repair
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel to customer sites
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work at heights
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
