At ProMedica, we strive to provide high-quality care to our patients. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in our Pulmonary Department, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients of all ages. This includes administering medications, performing diagnostic procedures, and maintaining patient records.
Responsibilities- Administer oxygen therapy and medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform pulmonary function tests and analyze results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
- Assist with the initiation, management, and weaning of invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to input and retrieve computer information, maintain credential as an RRT by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), and hold current BLS certification. ACLS, NRP, and PALS certification is recommended. Membership in professional organizations is encouraged.
