Audit Director

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Audit Director to join our team at Ascendo Resources. As a key member of our public accounting firm, you will be responsible for leading multiple teams and providing performance feedback to all members of those teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain positive relationships with a variety of clients across different industries.
• Lead multiple teams and provide performance feedback to team members.
• Communicate with clients to handle expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively.
• Promote new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and industry standards.
• Identify new business opportunities through networking within the industry.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of recent, relevant, and progressive public accounting external audit experience.
• CPA certification is highly preferred.
• Experience in external audit working with Consumer Markets, Professional Services, Real Estate & Construction, and/or Manufacturing clients is preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, technical, time management, and accounting and auditing skills.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements is preferred.
