Position Overview:
Soliant is in search of a committed School RN or LVN to fulfill a full-time role. The selected candidate will play a vital part in delivering essential health services to students, ensuring their overall health and enhancing their learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer direct nursing care to students, which includes first aid, medication distribution, and health evaluations.
- Create and execute personalized health care plans (IHPs) for students with unique health requirements.
- Oversee and manage chronic health issues, ensuring students' safety and preparedness for learning.
- Work in partnership with educators, parents, and health professionals to support the health and educational objectives of students.
- Conduct health assessments and monitor immunizations in accordance with state and local guidelines.
- Keep precise and confidential health records for students.
- Provide health education and guidance to students and staff on various health-related topics.
- Respond to emergencies and offer crisis intervention when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a current California RN or LVN license.
- Preferred experience in a school environment or with youth populations.
- Strong clinical skills along with organizational and communication abilities.
