Position: Orthopedic Surgeon

The Orthopedic Surgeon will be responsible for developing treatment plans for patients experiencing various musculoskeletal conditions. This role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, dieticians, hospitalists, radiologists, pathologists, and pharmacists. The Orthopedic Surgeon will serve as a key authority in diagnosing and managing preoperative, operative, and postoperative care for musculoskeletal disorders.

Essential Qualifications
  • Proven expertise in orthopedic surgery, including assessment, intervention, and patient management.
  • Experience in managing upper extremity injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, wrist pain, fractures, and arthritis.
  • Proficient in interpreting radiological examinations, including x-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.
  • Willingness to participate in general orthopedic call with a rotation of 1 in 6.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to work independently.
Required Credentials
  • Valid California Medical License.
  • Graduation from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited orthopedic surgery residency program.
  • Completion of an accredited fellowship in hand or upper extremity surgery.
  • Evidence of ongoing education and professional development to maintain licensure.
  • Board Certification or Eligibility from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
