Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to support the in-patient imaging department on an on-call basis.
Key Responsibilities- Performs MRI procedures on patients, preparing them for the exam, administering contrast when necessary, and ensuring technical quality of the scan.
- Enters and monitors patient quality assurance on magnetic resonance equipment and matrix camera.
- Assists with initial and renewal applications for ACR and other regulatory requirements.
- Reports any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management.
- Takes emergency calls within the department.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
- Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR) or Registered Radiological Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) and Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
