Job Summary

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled travel nurse to join our team as a Cardiac Catheterization Specialist in an Electrophysiology Lab setting. This is a 13-week assignment with a 36-hour workweek, requiring a high level of expertise and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology, and/or Structural Heart procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation, medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case loads.
  • Respond to emergent care situations and provide timely interventions.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring equipment maintenance, and lab cleanliness.
  • Assure preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance with PHS, Local, and Federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in RN program, radiology, or related field.
  • 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or EP procedures experience.
  • RN licensure required.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Detailed knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes, and principles of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional technology.
Work Schedule
  • Shift start: 7am.
  • On-call requirements: Yes.
  • Weekdays: Yes.
  • Weekends: Yes.
  • Holidays: Yes.
  • Floating shifts: Yes.
