Arborist Ground Specialist

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking a skilled Arborist Ground Person to join our team. As an integral member of a tree care crew, you will work alongside dedicated arborists, gaining practical field experience in scientific tree and shrub care on commercial and residential properties.

This entry-level opportunity offers hands-on, on-the-job training, allowing you to develop your career in arboriculture. You will learn to safely perform all aspects of arboriculture, including pruning, rigging, cabling, and removal of hazardous trees.

As an Arborist Ground Person, you will:

• Learn through on-the-job training to safely perform all aspects of arboriculture
• Assist Arborist Climbers and Arborist Crew Leaders working on the ground and aloft
• Implement work zone safety procedures
• Assist with driving, backing, dumping, and parking duties

• Prior tree care, landscaping, forestry, or horticulture experience is preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license
• Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Landscape Management, Environmental Science or a related field is preferred but not required
