Position Overview:

The role of the Inspector is crucial in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The Inspector will be responsible for identifying and classifying defects in finished goods, ensuring compliance with customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Identify and classify defects into critical, major, and minor categories, ensuring that all issues are reported to the Operator for prompt resolution.
  • Verify that packaging specifications are met according to the specifications sheet.
  • Perform necessary rework safely and maintain cleanliness in the work area, including during line downtimes.
  • Foster a collaborative atmosphere by assisting in various tasks such as housekeeping, organizing, and transporting materials.
  • Assist Operators in machine startups and troubleshoot any jams while maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Support the Maintenance department by ensuring cleanliness around machines during maintenance periods.
  • Conduct inspections of work areas to identify unsafe conditions and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Utilize effective verbal and written communication skills to report findings and collaborate with team members.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, performing cleaning and sorting duties as required.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Required: High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Skills:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
  • Physical capability to perform continuous lifting, bending, reaching, and twisting.
