Overnight Specialist

Job Summary:

This position provides confidential and diverse support for the Director of the Hartley Outdoor Education Center. The Overnight Specialist will oversee school groups' needs during their visits to Hartley, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be on-site and on call during school trip visits, providing assistance with cleaning, departures, and administering medication as needed.
• Report any after-hours irregularities to the Director and perform housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Implement emergency procedures as necessary and follow all rules and regulations.
• Respond to customer needs and concerns for the Hartley Outdoor Education Center and the overall organization.

Requirements:

• Ability to stay overnight when assigned at Hartley.
• High school diploma/equivalent required, with current CPR and first aid certification.
• Excellent customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work well with diverse groups and individuals.
• Ability to analyze situations, follow tasks to completion, and react to change productively.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to exercise independent judgment and work independently in a self-directed manner.
