Job Summary

As a Vascular Technologist at Hackensack Meridian Health, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Your expertise in vascular technology will enable you to work closely with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging tests using ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of blood vessels.
  • Interact with patients to ensure their comfort and safety during testing.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of diagnostic medical sonography with a specialty in vascular technology.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in a diagnostic vascular setting.
  • Proficient in carotid and peripheral vascular testing using diagnostic imaging ultrasound equipment.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
