Job Title: CDL B Driver

Technical Professionals Group (TPG) is seeking a skilled CDL B Driver to join our team. As a CDL B Driver, you will be responsible for operating vehicles in a wide range of testing conditions, following detailed instructions for vehicle and component preparation, and collecting data through various data acquisition systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate CDL B vehicles in various testing conditions
  • Follow detailed instructions for vehicle and component preparation
  • Collect data through various data acquisition systems
  • Communicate in accordance with customer protocol
  • Perform other duties as requested
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Class B Commercial Driver's License
  • Minimum of 5 years of driving experience with an excellent driving record
  • CDL B with at least 3 years of commercial driving experience
  • Able to drive safely in various conditions, follow policies, and take ownership for working safely to avoid risks to self and others
Working Conditions:

The CDL B Driver will work in a diverse and challenging environment, requiring good verbal and written communication skills, flexibility, and receptiveness to new requests. The position is safety-sensitive, requiring all persons assigned to the activity to be drug-free and pass a drug screen.

The CDL B Driver will be required to work in adverse weather conditions, dusty, and hot weather, and will need to be able to perform essential job functions in an environment with varied noise levels.

The CDL B Driver will be responsible for documenting near misses, making suggestions for reduction of risk exposure, and communicating all damage to the vehicle, including scrapes and dings.

The CDL B Driver will participate in and support corrective action plans as requested.

Physical and Environmental Job Requirements:
  • Sitting, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, carrying, and lifting items of up to 25 lbs. or more
  • Prolonged routine sitting for 2 or more hours, and evening driving may be necessary

This is a safety-sensitive position requiring all persons assigned to the activity to be drug-free and pass a drug screen.
