Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Settlement Coordinator to join our team at DRB Group. As a key member of our settlement team, you will be responsible for processing un-ratified and ratified contracts, coordinating settlement processes, and ensuring efficient communication with customers, lenders, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and manage the settlement process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of contracts and settlement reports.
  • Compile and research information for settlement reports, and maintain accurate records of settlement files.
  • Liaise with customers, lenders, appraisers, sales, production, and title companies to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Enter settlement information into company systems, and maintain accurate records of contracts, change orders, and other relevant documents.
  • Review deeds and settlement statements for accuracy prior to approval, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or 2-3 years of work experience in a related field.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with experience in data entry and file management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and be assertive, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous homebuilding experience, with knowledge of the homebuilding industry and its processes.
  • Licensed Notary, with the ability to perform notary services as required.
