Recovery Coach

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Peer Support Specialist to join our team at Impact Life. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and be able to provide support and guidance to individuals struggling with mental health issues.

About the Role:

• This is a part-time position working 1st shift on Saturdays from 8:00am-4:00pm and Sundays from 8:00am-4:00pm.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting support meetings, providing service linkage as specified on the care plan, and responding to residents' emergencies as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrange medical appointments, therapy sessions, support groups, and other resources to aid the client in their recovery journey.
• Monitor the resident's behavior, schedule, medication, and activities to ensure their well-being.
• Report any unusual behavior, conflicts, or recovery deviations to relevant professionals in a timely manner.
• Liaise with family members and medical professionals regularly to ensure a collaborative approach to care.

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years proven work experience as a Peer Support Specialist or similar role in Behavioral Health, Substance Use Disorder Treatment, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
• Highly compassionate and attentive to details with a focus on delivering high-quality care.
• The ability to be on call for emergencies and work on weekends and public holidays.
• Candidates must hold a valid driver's license at the time of application and maintain it throughout employment.

Estimated Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000 per year based on experience and location.
