Real Property Support Specialist to join our team. This role is open to remote work.


POSITION SUMMARY:

The Real Property Support Specialist plays a vital role in all operational aspects of the Real Property Branch, including acquisitions, relocations, property management, and condemnation processes. The primary responsibility is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payment requests, data management, records oversight, and document preparation and evaluation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Execute a range of administrative tasks utilizing various Microsoft Office applications, including document handling, filing, records management, correspondence preparation, and maintaining functional files for Right of Way staff.+ Assess and verify claims invoices for completeness, accuracy, and compliance, facilitating the review and approval process among Consultants and Senior Right-of-Way Agents.+ Analyze data and provide recommendations to Senior Right-of-Way Agents and Consultants to ensure that services requested align with applicable laws, policies, and standards.+ Offer support to Right-of-Way Agents in managing the payment process related to acquisitions, relocations, property management, and condemnation on a daily basis.+ Oversee the processing and tracking of payments, ensuring that consultants and vendors receive their payments promptly.+ Coordinate payment procedures with the client's accounting department, budget teams, and legal consultants.+ Input claims and payment information into the system, ensuring proper documentation is scanned and uploaded into SharePoint.

Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

+ BA/BS degree with 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Familiarity with real estate and accounting principles and practices.+ Ability to follow directions, seek clarification when needed, and take detailed notes to effectively communicate with consultants and collaborate with team members.+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with experience in database management.+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with consultants, colleagues, and other departments.+ Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high professional standards.+ Proven ability to track and manage specific project-related tasks.+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle various responsibilities simultaneously.+ Demonstrated initiative and accountability for accuracy and results.+ Knowledge and experience in Real Estate and Accounting practices.+ Notary Public certification is a plus.Additional Information
