About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Children's Health (Dallas). As a Radiology Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality diagnostic images to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Imaging Equipment: Ensure the smooth operation of complex imaging equipment to produce high-quality images according to established standards.
  • Perform Imaging Procedures: Conduct imaging procedures and produce diagnostic images to meet the requirements of research plans in the Pediatric Imaging Center.
  • Assist End Users: Provide assistance to end users who need to use the imaging equipment for their practice.
  • Participate in Training Programs: Participate in training programs to develop additional skills and/or enhance existing skills.
  • Communicate with Colleagues: Communicate and collaborate with other departmental staff to facilitate optimum patient care.
Requirements
  • Credentials: Medical Radiologic Technologist, Radiography Tech-ARRT, Basic Life Support
  • Work Experience: At least 1 year job-related experience, Proficient in a bio-medical imaging and scientific environment
  • Education: Two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Licenses and Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography, Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
