Independent Optometrist

At Walmart, we're seeking an experienced Independent Optometrist to join our team in providing top-notch eye and vision care services to our customers.

Job Summary:
As an Independent Optometrist, you will have the autonomy to establish your own schedule, hours of operation, and patient schedule. You will also have the opportunity to set your own fee schedule and keep 100% of exam/professional fees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive eye exams and vision care services to patients
• Establish and maintain a high level of patient satisfaction and loyalty
• Develop and implement strategies to increase patient volume and revenue
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school
• Valid state optometry license
• Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) from an accredited school
• Valid state ophthalmology license
• General Liability Certificate
• Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
• W-9

• Experience working in a retail optometry setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
