At Sunrise Senior Living, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership and direction to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care and services.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Sunrise Senior Living's standards.
- Collaborate with the Regional Director of Resident Care and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of nursing services and resident care.
- Recruit, hire, and train nursing staff, ensuring a skilled and dedicated team that delivers exceptional resident care.
- Manage the nursing budget, ensuring effective use of resources and compliance with Sunrise Senior Living's financial policies.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement in resident care and services.
- Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum two (2) years RN experience; at least one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year nursing management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision.
- Certified in CPR and First Aid.
- Demonstrated knowledge of applied nursing practices, techniques, and methods in accordance with federal, state/province, and board of nursing requirements.
- Ability to delegate assignments to the appropriate individuals based on their demonstrated skill capability and in compliance with all regulations.
