Job Description

This role is part of the Information Technology Team within the Information Technology Division. Specifically, you would be working and supporting the Cargo business at ***.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in all phases of the development process from inception through transition, advocating the agile process and test-driven development.
  • Use object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct, and test reusable objects.
  • Make the codebase better.
  • Plan, develop, test, and document computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems.
  • Evaluate user requests for new or modified programs to determine feasibility, cost, and time required, compatibility with current systems, and computer capabilities.
  • Formulate plans outlining steps required to develop programs using structured analysis and design.
  • Prepare flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate the sequence of steps programs must follow and to describe logical operations involved.
  • Capture and create test scenarios for various software updates complete with test conditions for each scenario.
  • Convert project specifications into sequences of detailed acceptance criteria and logical steps for testing functionality, data completeness, and accuracy, and then automate these test cases and conditions in various tools.
  • Review and maintain automated test suites and integrate these test cases into CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
  • 3 years of automated test engineering experience with tools such as Selenium, Protractor, Cypress, Worksoft, Node.js, etc.
  • 3 years of experience using API testing tools.
  • 3 years of experience with performance testing processes and tools such as JMeter, etc.
  • 3 years of experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, GitHub, etc.
  • 3 years of experience in designing and creating automation frameworks using Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, Appium, Protractor, Jasmine, Mocha.
  • Experience in preparing test strategies, test plans, and test summary reports for functional, integration, regression, user acceptance, stress, and performance, web service testing, and mobile testing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience using API testing tools.
  • 5+ years of experience with performance testing processes and tools such as JMeter, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, GitHub, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and creating automation frameworks using Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, Appium, Protractor, Jasmine, Mocha.
  • Experience in preparing test strategies, test plans, and test summary reports for functional, integration, regression, user acceptance, stress, and performance, web service testing, and mobile testing.
Airline Industry Experience

Demonstrated experience in the following:

  • Java, XML, HTML, understanding.
  • Web Services, such as REST/SOAP, JSON/WSDL/XML.
  • Selenium, Cypress, Protractor, etc.
  • JMeter or equivalent performance testing tools.
  • Oracle - PL/SQL, DB2 SQL querying skills.
  • Object-Oriented Analysis, Design Patterns, and Frameworks.
Skills, Licenses & Certifications

Experience with DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment.

Experience with Agile project management methodology.

Experience writing quality object-oriented code for new and existing automation framework models like BDD and data-driven frameworks.

Possess a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge.
