The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a positive work environment. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Sales and Operations

    • Analyze sales data and implement strategies to drive sales growth, manage daily store operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and visual merchandising.

    • Ensure accurate cash handling, report any discrepancies, and maintain a secure store environment.
  2. Team Management

    • Lead and develop a high-performing team, provide coaching and feedback to improve performance, promote a positive and inclusive work environment, foster open communication, and encourage collaboration among team members.

    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance skills and knowledge, recognize and reward outstanding performance, and address performance issues in a timely manner.
  3. Customer Experience

    • Provide exceptional customer service, resolve customer complaints promptly, and maintain a high level of product knowledge, recommend products based on customer needs, and promote loyalty programs.
  4. Administrative Tasks

    • Manage payroll, benefits, and other administrative tasks, maintain accurate records, and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of retail management experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.
  • Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
  • Proven excellent customer service skills, statistical track record in sales and leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership qualities, training, and team-building skills.
  • Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
  • Able to communicate with customers and staff.
