Position Overview:

In this position, you will have the chance to

Develop and maintain RF test automation systems tailored for aerospace and defense initiatives. Our automated testing systems facilitate the RF evaluation and calibration of our offerings, which encompass: managing the device under test, RF testing apparatus, switch matrices, thermal chambers, and temperature control plates, executing RF assessments, and gathering, archiving, and analyzing data. This role necessitates collaboration with both hardware and software components—robust RF testing and programming expertise are essential.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Constructing and supporting RF test automation hardware and software solutions.
  • Designing, assembling, and validating innovative RF test systems for deployment in a production setting.
  • Developing automation tools for RF and digital engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Maintaining and enhancing existing systems.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, along with 6-8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Expertise with RF testing instruments, including but not limited to:
    • Signal Generators
    • Spectrum Analyzers
    • Network Analyzers
    • Noise Figure Meters
  • Proficiency in RF measurements such as:
    • Gain
    • VSWR
    • IMD
    • P1dB
    • Spurious
    • Phase Noise
  • Strong laboratory and hardware skills, including soldering and mechanical assembly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
  • Skilled in programming languages such as C#, F#, Java, Python, or similar.
  • Experience with collaborative software tools like Git, Bitbucket, and Jira.
  • Security clearance is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code.
  • Experience with SQL and database management.

Note: This position requires you to have or obtain a government security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
