Job Summary
Physician Empire is seeking a highly qualified and experienced physician to lead our new General Surgery Residency program as Program Director/Associate Program Director/Academic Physician or Core Faculty. This is a university-affiliated position that requires professional expertise and leadership to provide guidance and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to the General Surgery Residency program
- Develop and implement curriculum and educational programs for residents
- Recruit and mentor residents to achieve academic and professional goals
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure program success
- Develop and manage program budgets and resources
Requirements
- Experience teaching in an approved AOA or ACGME General Surgery Residency program
- Experience with publications and grant writing skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff
